Very Poor service
I have been to the Scottsdale location and the Peoria Location. I continue to go back (to the Peoria location) because the food is decent, but the service, in my experience has been very sub-par. In today's economy, folks should be happy to be employed and happy to have customers coming in the doors, oh, but no....it appears that my patronage at 3 tomatoes & a mozzarella, Peoria proves to be quite a burden on the staff there. Matter fact, I will do them a favor and cancel my office lunch party we planned there next week (seriously). We were seated in a timely fashion for our dinner tonight. Our waiter then came and proceeded to inform us about how busy he was, and he had been running his tail off. It wasn't what he said; it was the negativity he projected--like we were indeed ruining his night for coming in. At that point, I did wish to leave, but I was hungry and didn't want to make a big deal of this "Tommy Terrible" the world is ending because you walked in ...
RE: I Wont Be Back
This customers recollection of what happened while dining at 3 Tomatoes is completely distorted. Our salads always come with one tomato, he never asked for another one, he never asked for more dressing because the answer would have been SURE. His wife did get the wheat spaghetti she ordered, apparently she doesnt know the difference. Never requested to take dollar off of check. His daughter never asked if she could have the pesto panini without chicken because again of course the answer would have been YES. And her order wasnt wrong. If he didnt like his pasta we could've changed it for him, but he never said anything, and for someone who didn't like the food he sure did eat all of it..
I won't be back
My wife and I ordered the $20 split. It works like this. You split a salad and get half an entre. The salad serving would have been tiny for one and had only one tomato with almost no dressing. Asked for more. Answer came back NO. No salad fork. Bread was so doughy all agreed it was inedible. My wife ordered wheat spagettie and got regular. When she asked for the extra dollar to be taken off the bill she was told NO. The cook insisted it was wheat even after the waitress took it back to the kitchen for him to see. My daughter is vegan and asked if she could order the chicken panini but hold the chicken. The cook said NO. My dinner had good sauce but the pasta was like eating rubber. Everyone tried it and agreed. My daugthers order came out wrong as well. One of the worst dinning experiences I have had in the decade. Management very non customer friendly. It is their way or the highway. I like the highway better.
