Go to Parlor Pizza instead....1916 E...
We finally decided to drive over to Pizza Bianco at 4:30 PM one day during our visit this week (Easter Week 2010). The wait wa already 3 hours, with the first reservation available 6 week ins into the future. Uh, no thanks. So I asked the hostess if the pizza wa the best in town. She said, "I don' know". I'm sorry, if you are going to make me wait 3 hours for pizza, the answer must be a resounding 'YES!!!'. So I asked her for recommendations for the closest and best pizza like the pizza at Bianco. She recommended Parlor Pizza, a 15 minute drive from Bianco. What a pleasant surprise!!!! No way Bianco can beat rParlor for taste, atmosphere, selection, friendly staff, pice and ample parking. Creative pizza on the menu, build-your-own, crust that is thin, crispy and bubbly. We loved it - the best pizza in Scottsdale.

Common Sense
My wife and I showed up at 4:15, went to park in the lot a nice young man asked if I eating a Bianco, I said yes and he allowed me to park. Nice guy told me that the 1st 40 people on line go in at 5:00 then they take names and it about 6:15 before I would sit down. Went to the end of the line at least 50 people plus. Was going to Concert at 7:30 so decided to leave and thanked him for the info. After concert came back a 10:05 pm walked in and there were at least 10 seats open. Asked for a table for two. Hostess/ Waitress says we stopped seating at 10:00. Explained we were here at 4:15 today went to concert, as we are speaking they call in the last four people from outside and seat them. I say why and she said, they were on the waiting list I hoped you enjoyed the concert. I guess its nice to have a waiting list because they sure do not have any personality or people with common sense working there.

Are you kidding me? Really?
We got two pizzas, the wiseguy that has no red sauce and the Margarita with red sauce. If you can look me straight in the face and say this pizza is worth a 4+ hour wait, then you obviously haven't been to many pizza places. Yes, I'm sure the ingredients are fresh, yada yada yada. However, there is nothing out of this world about the flavor. It actually just made us laugh. It wasn't even worth a 5 minute wait. I hate giving a review like this but it was such a disappointment. I've been to hundreds of restaurants through out my 30 years of life on this planet. So when I was told about the 4+ hour waiting times at Pizzeria Bianco for the most amazing pizza in North America (even according to Oprah), I had to give it a try. It was anything but great. Go ahead, wait 4 hours and try it for yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you. The one positive thing I will give it is the building is very cool. Very nice atmosphere.
