Real New York Italian Food.
This place is an authentic NY Italian mom and pop restaurant, sauces and attitude. Total cas...ual. Good honest food. I haven't tried everything but the sauces are wonderful. Lorenzo's Calzone! look out.
I crave their pizza
Their pizza is a slice of heaven. In a state where good pizza is hard to find this place's pizza tastes like it came from a hole in the wall in Brooklyn. It's that good. I know my pizza being a native NYer. This is good stuff. ...
Don't Order The Pesto Pasta
The pizza here is on par with many area places, but when we asked for the pesto pasta we were very disappointed. It amounted to oily penne with some flakes of dried herbs. No taste whatsoever and no cheese or garlic ("pesto" ). I felt so strongly about this I brought it back to the restaurant to show the manager. He claimed it "may be a little light on the sauce" but made no other overture. "Sauce"??? It's pesto If this is the ownership they take of their product, I suggest you go elsewhere. There's a lot of good pizza here, with better management. Please remember, their pizza is very good, but this dish was awful as was their attitude about it.
