Excellent pizza, great value!
This is the best Chicago pizza I've had since my trip to Chicago. Excellent deep dish pizza, homemade sausage. I've had nothing else but the deep dish pizza. And the cookies which are great, so I can't vouch for anything else, but get the deep dish with sausage and pepporoni. It'll take an hour. They close early (for me) so I have to think about it before hand. They should be open later.
Perfect for families!
We got take out from Pizza Chicago when I was in Tempe visiting relatives over the holiday. It was the day after Christmas and no one really felt like cooking, so this was the perfect solution! The food was great, with more then enough options to satisfy a large family. The Tavern Cut style pizza was great for sharing, the square slices works well for lots of people. My sister got the sausage sandwich, and she had nothing but good things to say about it (must have been good because she didn't want to share). Highly recommend this place, the way the food is prepared makes it perfect for sharing with family & friends!
Good Stuff!
I gave the sausage a try, which is a family recipe, and it was delicious! This is a lean, juicy, and very tasty sausage patty. NOTHING dry, bland or grissly about it! Kids had the pizza, which I also tried and loved it. Crust was thin perfectly crispy. We will be going back for sure.
