Great Food...Reasonable Prices....No...
Picasso's Pizza is a nice little restaurant located in a shopping center on HWY 16 east of I-540. Don't let the blank walls and light crowd scare you away. The food is actually really good. For appetizers, we tried the meatball cheese bread to start things off. The marinara sauce is excellent, and the meatballs are delicious. For dinner, we split a large bowl of pasta and a house salad which were also very good. We will certainly try the pizza next time we visit. The prices are reasonable compared to the large chain Italian restaurant, but the food is better. The service was fast and friendly. However, we were the only people in the restaurant at the time. One item of note is the chef's use of herbs growing onsite in the restaurant…it doesn't get much fresher than that! Picasso's could really use a makeover, in fact, there is absolutely zero atmosphere. If you can get past that, I'm sure you will enjoy the food. Maybe take-out is your best bet.
