I like Rogue. It is a very easy-going place to relax and enjoy live music. Good vibes and good times.
I like it.
I've been to Rogue twice. The first time I went a local band was playing and the other time a local hip-hop DJ. I like this place. The crowd is pretty diverse in comparison other bars on Dickson. Also, the food is GREAT and reasonably priced. The kitchen is usually open late too. The bar itself is pretty large with a pretty large amount of seating (couches mainly). There is a pool table too. The outside area is really nice too... too bad it's cold out now. Also, when Rogue has bands they usually only charge a $5 cover... not too bad. I've never seen the cover higher than $5, though I'm sure it happens. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have ladies night on Thursdays. Depending on the night they usually have some sort of special going on for well drinks and beer as well. Overall it's a great place for GREAT food, reasonably priced drinks, a nice atmosphere, and a diverse crowd and entertainment. I think Rogue has just become my new bar/pizza restaurant of ...
Who is "Dee?" & what is real.
Since this first "review" was written weeks before Rogue even opened, before the actual total Health Dept. APPROVAL of Rogue, and before any real waitress ever served any real drink or food for the remodeled, renamed Rogue, one is sorta led to wonder if all these intense fabrications aren't the sour grapes of the former evicted tenant whose business failed so miserably because of its multiple marketing failures, undistinguished food, poor management, and many unpaid debts across the board, one hears, still. Word on the street is that the claims against the former business are well into the six figures. Other questions come to mind. "If a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its butt," a wise man once said.
