Nino's Brazilian Restaurant is great!
I found this place by hollering "Brazilian!" into my cell phone's business-finder. I'm glad I did! I had the Feijoada and washed it down with a Guarana- I'm not Brazilian and maybe don't know better, but I thought the food was really tasty! ...
A Hidden Gem!
Jan. 4, 2009, we went to Nino's for dinner. My fiance' is from Brazil so she know's good Brazilian food and enjoyed speaking Portuguese with the friendly staff as well. This was my first time eating Feijoada and it was wonderful! One order at $12.95 was more than enough for two people. You can't cook this much food at home for that price. We also had the Coxinhas and they were wonderful as well. We also liked their unique Brazilian topping pizzas so much that we ordered an extra large and brought it home to freeze it. They also have a small supply of Brazilian grocery staples and of course we went home with a bag of these types of items as well. If you live anywhere in the Berkeley area or are driving through, you've got to give this place a try. It's a hidden gem!
