It really is the best!
I was skeptical when first I entered this restaurant, as the staff appeared casual and disorganized, and the place feels a little dirty and dingy. But the deep dish pizza is superb, with a tasty sauce, generous toppings, and perfectly browned cheese at the edge. Despite the apparent disorganization, I always received prompt attention from the staff. Now every time I pass through Escondido on a long trip, I sit down to a personal pizza with sausage and tomato and order a large pizza to go.
