Dirty, poor service.
We ate dinner here on the evening of Friday January 22, 2010 at about 8:00 PM. The weather was terrible, so the place was not busy at all. We were seated in the back of the restaurant, and the thing that stood out to me almost immediately was that the dining room was filthy. There was trash all over the floor (straw wrappers, food etc.) including a very conspicuous dirty napkin laying right in the walkway as we approached our table. I thought this was odd since it was so obvious to me, even though I wasn't looking for it. Several tables also had not been cleared. I didn't let it bother me, however looking back I shudder to think of how the kitchen looked. Our waitress took a long time to greet us, and take our order, I think this was because another party had apparently not had a good meal, and had complained-I overheard them talking about discounting the bill. Still I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The food was actually pretty good. The salad was excellent even though ...

Service was terrible, waitress took my drink to refil and didn't bring it back for like 20 mins. I say 20 mins because that's how long she would disappear to at a time. When we were first sat down at the table we had to have the manager ...

Great quality control for the pizza. It's just as good as the pizza at home on Rush street. The deep dish and thin crust are both fantastic. Can't vouch for the rest of the items either here or there though. When you go to Girodanos you go for da pizza man!!!
