Rudest server EVER...bride of the soup nazi?
I read about Paci's in The St. Pete Times, and it had my mouth watering for authentic New York pizza. (I should emphasize that I don't picture myself being a whiner about service...and I don't like fussy customers who walk all over restaurant staff.) To be fair to the restaurant, I also predicted Paci's would be busy when I dropped by on a Friday night. All of that in mind, I was shocked how rude the server was at the counter. After I waited behind a few people in line, I ordered two slices of cheese to go. At 7:00p.m. the server just said that they only had one slice left! So that's what I ordered. Next, she offered free beer and wine to about four people in front of me and then skipped over me. While waiting for my own slice, I mentioned that I would like to order a Brooklyn lager, and she responded loudly and defensively that I could not take it to go because "IT'S AGAINST THE LAW, SIR!" even though I never said a word about wanting to take ...

Solid. Really enjoyed it. Enjoyed it more than Pizzaiolo Bavaro, Wood Fired Pizza & Wine Bar, maybe even Eddie & Sams? You can BYOW (wine) no corkage, the owner was a really nice guy, definitely wanted to be sure the pie was top notch. ...

In my opinion, there are only two places worth eating Pizza. Cappys and Pacis. Pacis is my #1 favorite and is a true hands down NY style pizza. The owners/workers are VERY friendly. Overall I would give them a A+ on Customer service and a A+ on Pizza. Worth the calories!
