The Best Pizza in North Pinellas by far
We are from northern New Jersey and very picky about good pizza. San's is a family style restaurant, wonderful owners and wait staff and excellent food. The pizza has a fantastic crust and a homemade sauce that's perfect. We usually do take-out or delivery on the pizza but once or twice a month we'll eat in and have chicken parmesian or pene with vodka sauce - both are excellent. We also had them cater a party for us - meat and cheese lasagna along with garlic knots. Our guests raved and the trays vanished!

Not impressed!
We called on a Saturday around 7:30pm and were told that the pizza would be 1/2 hour, reasonable for a Saturday night. We got there about 20 minutes later and they were quite busy. We thought lets add on another pizza or some garlic knots but were told that it would take 10 minutes for the knots and 20 minutes for another pizza so we decided not to get anything else. At 8:10 we asked when the pizza would be done and they said in a few minutes. I did overhear that our pizza was not even put in so essentially we waited until 8:30pm. Tried the pizza but found out that the crust was very tough. I couldnt even eat the crust. Sorry I do not think all the talk and hype is really true. I found Eddie & Sams and Anthony's coal fire pizza to outbeat this place a million to one. Give it a try but I think you will be disappointed.
