They lost our business!
I NEVER write reviews for anything...EVER!! But our experience in the Knolla's on 21st (reeds cove) was horrible enough for me to make sure I wrote a review. We went a week ago with friends from out of town. The resrturant was not that busy for the dinner hour, but it was obvious the staff (all really young people) were in way over their heads. NO one offered to take or order, show us a menu, greet us, or generally act like we had entered the resturant. We went up and ordered 2 large pizzas (not complicated) & waited....and waited....we waited an hour and a half, then we had to go up & ask where the pizzas were. No one knew. Only one order had been made & it was still cooking). NO one offered to comp the pizza or give us a coupon for next time, nothing. No one even made eye contact with us! We did get some sassy highschooler telling us the printer was broken & they were doing the best they could. When I asked who was in charge, she pointed to another person ...
Was Awful, Now Great.
We were wary of ordering from this Knolla's again after several bad experiences about 8 months ago. Horrible customer service and overpriced food. The experiences left us driving from our home in Andover to the Central & Rock Knolla's in east Wichita. We visited about a month ago at the urge of family friends. Things have much improved. The employees appeared fresh (we assume the old slew of apathetic high school students were kicked to the curb) and the food was much better. And we were able to order more than one pizza under the "large pizza for medium charge" special. This Knolla's location was previously god-awful and has since received a much needed boot to positivity-glands. Only complaint now: they drown the pizza in toppings and it is nearly impossible to hold a slice without making a mess on the table. Hardly a complaint, though. Would much rather have an obnoxious amount of toppings than be skimped like with Pizza Hut' ...
Poor Customer Service and Terrible...
I just called Knolla's to have them deliver a pizza on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm. Guess what? They don't deliver between 2-4p even on the weekends and stop delivering at 8pm every night. They just lost some Andover business, just called Pizza Hut which is cheaper and deliver between 2-4pm. This place is a JOKE!
