I used to work there and the reason there is only one lady working lunch buffet is because she refuses to let anyone else help her. She is a store manager and makes 100+ in tips a day during buffet plus her 30k a year, and then has the other servers work nights making 25-30 dollars in tips at 3.13 an hour. Plus corporate is so hard on the managers there, they usually employ only 3 at any given time. Cook, driver, server. It's very overwhelming to the employees there, trust me!!
They need more help!
We were a little disappointed by this Pizza Hut because there is one lady taking care of 50+ people in the restaurant for the lunch buffet. The lunch buffet is like the African Serengeti. There is a limited amount of food that is swarmed and attacked by hyenas and lions at lunch time -- it feels like a competition! She has so much trouble keeping up with filling everyone's glasses, refilling the buffet, seating people, and checking people out!! I feel so sorry for her. What is wrong with you, Pizza Hut? Get this woman some help! We would've enjoyed our lunch much more if we didn't have to wait 15 minutes in between pizza slices. P.S. On our way out we ran into a family who noticed our frustration. They said their family comes here weekly and it is ALWAYS like this. She is ALWAYS running around like a chicken with her head cut off.
